International Women's Day: Major Players supports SheSays to help women further their careers in digital creative industries

Women make up just 24% of London's creative departments, which is why just 14% of CD positions are held by women and female ECDs are few and far between.

For the 2nd year running, Major Players has partnered with SheSays, a global creative network for women, to drive diversity and female talent in the creative industry.

Laura Bambach, co-founder and director of SheSays, commented: “'Major Players has been a wonderful partner with SheSays for the last 12 months, helping London, our foundation market, grow and offer more support to creative women. We are proud to be working with them again in 2016 - we have more ambitious plans that we can fulfil together.”

Allison Upton, director of marketing, Major Players, added: “As a recruiter we can make a positive impact to support our clients to cultivate diverse teams and help more women advance into senior positions. A more balanced creative department can only produce more reflective results in advertising and creative work.”

As a result of the partnership, Major Players, an award-winning recruitment agency for the creative, digital and marketing industries, will host events, contribute to newsletters and get involved in SheSays networking and mentoring, to support female talent.
