My client is seeking an experienced Java Developer to join their team. You will need strong commercial experience in Java, Azure, and Data services to drive impactful solutions for their clients

Responsibilities

Perform data analysis, data model design, data linking, implementation, testing, debugging, documenting, and maintenance of the linking solutions
Communicate and collaborate with linking team members to understand complex product requirements and translate them into software designs
Implement and improve development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews
Review, organize, and analyze complex datasets containing billions of records to support the needs of teams around the business.
Work with and support other teams within the business to ensure the integrated system meets quality standards

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, applied mathematics, statistics, or equivalent technical discipline
4+ years of experience in software development with exposure to the software development life cycle
Strong application development experience using JAVA
Experience with Azure Data bricks, ADLS2, Azure Data Explorer, Cosmos DB is preferred
Experience with Big Data and ETL is preferred
Experience with application containerization and deployment process (Docker, GitHub, CI/CD)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good understanding of different data structures, algorithms, and their usage in solving business problems
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Ability to assemble, analyze, and evaluate big data and be able to make appropriate and well-reasoned recommendations to stakeholders
