Job description

Our instantly recognisable food and beverage, Direct to Consumer (D2C) brand are looking for a web developer to join their growing team. As an experienced web developer you will be familiar with working with and creating templated digital assets and web pages which drive conversion on key campaigns for new and existing customers.

You will be happy work autonomously, and as part of a team taking responsibility for your workload and proactively producing new ideas and ways of working where necessary.

A well-respected brand in the food and beverage space they have they run in a lean way and encourage proactive work, this role is offered on a hybrid basis with a minimum of 2 days a week on site in London or Norwich.

Day to day Responsibilities

● Minimum 3 years commercial experience as a web developer or similar, with a portfolio of web projects

● Expert knowledge of mobile-first and responsive development and modern styling techniques (CSS, Sass, design systems, Material Design etc)

● Expert Git source control knowledge

● Strong attention to detail

● Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills

● Confident engaging with a range of internal stakeholders

● Able to meet deadlines and work methodically

● Ability to manage workflow of projects

● A genuine passion for web design, and the desire to learn and develop. An interest in new technologies & frameworks

Desirable:

● Experience working with Javascript (ie. jQuery)

● Knowledge of Figma

● Familiar with the principles of accessibility, UX design and human-centred design

● Have experience in management or mentoring

● Experience building emails, specifically utilising HTML

Responsibilities:

● Partner closely with a Web Designer to bring to life first class web pages with excellent user experiences

● Tweak existing coded templates to ensure they are optimised for local campaigns

● Help support our talented teams around the business to maintain the website and answer technical questions
