Pentester
Job description
Opportunity for a pen tester working for one of Europes leading digital transformation companies. This is a 6 month freelance role with high chance of extension.
You will be an integral part of the Cybersecurity Team within the NMBS CISO organization (Cyber-and Information Security Office). You will contribute to proactive security testing, vulnerability assessment, and simulating real-world cyber attacks to identify weaknesses insystems and infrastructure
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and application security
- Proficiency in using penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, etc.
- Experience with red teaming techniques, including social engineering, phishing, and physical security assessments
- Familiarity with industry-standard frameworks and methodologies such as MITRE ATT&CK OWASP, etc.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation and tool development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- At least 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on penetration testing and red teaming
- Relevant certifications such as OSCP, OSWE, GPEN, GXPN, or similar are preferred.
- Strong written and spoken fluency in English; additional fluency in Dutch and/or French is a plus.
