Lead React Native Engineer

I'm partnered with a business based in Greater London who are looking for a tech lead to join their team! This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a team of up to 6 engineers in a squad for a react native mobile app.

Key information:

• Experience leading a team of at least 4/5 people
• React Native experience
• Exposure to C#/.NET (not essential)
• 1x per week in Greater London office
• Startup experience

Key skills:

• React-Native, React JS/Typescript
• SOLID Principles
• Web API
• Hands-on experience with React Native, building apps for both iOS and Android
• Awareness of best practices on each iOS and Android platform and the differences
• Experience managing teams and engineers within agile teams (large or small) and aspiration to continue to do so.
• C# ASP.NET, .Net Core

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of engineers around a cross functional product team, providing guidance and mentorship for individuals helping them grow in their careers.
• Use your technical knowledge and expertise to help build a better business, and bring people along with you on that journey.
• Work with the Product owner and you'll be responsible for setting the technical and product direction of your team, setting realistic timelines, identifying risks and ensuring the project goals and deliverables are correctly implemented.
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical team members and stakeholders, acting as the main point of contact for technical issues providing guidance and problem resolution.
