Job description

Major Players are working with a growing integrated agency to bring a Junior Account Director into their London-based team.

We are seeking a Senior Account Manager ready to step up into the role of Account Director, providing support across two different B2B accounts. Reporting directly to the Senior Account Director, the successful candidate will oversee a budding team consisting of one Account Manager and one Account Executive.

This role will encompass work across a variety of channels including Digital, OOH, CRM and Social Video.

Creative:

  • Foster the agency's creative vision, nurturing an environment conducive to creative thinking and idea development.
  • Ensure each creative briefing is inspiring and strive for exceptional creative output consistently.
  • Champion new approaches with an open-minded perspective, while maintaining quality control on all deliverables.
  • Align all work with client business objectives and briefs, consistently checking for relevance.
  • Effectively present ideas, both formally and informally, with intelligence, passion, and clarity.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, leading client meetings and providing day-to-day support.
  • Cultivate positive client relationships that position the agency as indispensable.
  • Proactively engage with clients, offering assistance and insights where appropriate.

  • Utilise industry knowledge to identify and pursue opportunities for clients and the agency.
  • Confidently communicate the agency's full-service offering to clients.

People Management:

  • Actively develop the skills of team members through mentorship and coaching.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Provide constructive feedback and encourage staff to take ownership of their development.
  • Foster a diverse and collaborative work environment.
  • Enhance team cooperation, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating resilience and a commitment to excellence.
