Head of Communications (£60k-£110k + bens)

Candidate check list - only candidates who can demonstrate the following can be considered;

Min of 7 yrs exp in PR/Comms

Experience in a successful B2C scale up

Experience in Fintech or a regulated business

The Head of Communications is a crucial role and although it's a 12 month maternity cover role, there is every chance that this could become a permanent position.

We are looking for an experienced PR leader who can deal with the fast-paced nature of a rapidly growing business whilst playing a key role in scaling their global status and position through generating and implementing compelling communications strategies.

Working directly with the Chief Communications Officer to manage the execution of both internal and external communications and PR.

Some of your responsibilities will include;

Managing media relations and tracking engagement, communications with leadership, campaigns, and crisis management.

Taking ownership in coordinating with various internal teams to drive announcements, campaigns, partnerships and more.

Maintaining the relationship with PR agencies, constantly driving performance to ensure targets are met or exceeded.

Designing and implementing business strategies and policies that support the company's vision and culture.

The right candidate for this senior post will need to demonstrate a min of 7 years' experience in PR/communications, ideally working within a FCA / regulated business. Perfect if you are from a fintech background.

Most important of all a clear demonstrable track record with a fast-growing scale up and can show how you've made an impact time and time again.

You'll need to be a highly energetic and creatively minded person with an entrepreneurial flair and a growth mindset. Being a super organised person and someone who flourishes in fast paced environments is essential.
