Job description
Graphic Designer with Video Editing skills - Hybrid / Birmingham
I am looking for a talented and motivated mid-weight graphic designer for a full time permanent role with a fantastic brand who are situated in Birmingham.
What I need from you:
- You are a junior graphic designer with at least 2 years of experience, ready to step up or you're a mid-weight with 3+ years of experience.
- Background in B2C, retail or lifestyle brand desirable.
- You must be strong on brand visual storytelling and designing engaging content for marketing campaigns, social, web banners, emailers, web assets, print collateral including brochures, event materials,
- Video editing experience for social content and promo videos
- Expertise in the Adobe CS + Premiere and proficiency in After Effects
- You must have a beautifully presented portfolio of graphic design and video editing work, showing your craft, thinking, development and final output.
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
- An approachable and friendly nature with a lack of ego and strong ability to build rapport with your colleagues
- The ability to confidently and articulately pitch and present your ideas to internal and external stakeholders
- The desire to keep up with trends, best practices etc and inspiring teams to do so
Salary: up to £40k DOE
Location: onsite 1-2 days in Central Birmingham, with rest of the week remote (non-negotiable)
