Overview:

As a Data Solutions Architect, you will play a critical role in driving the digital transformation of our application landscape. You will bridge the gap between conceptual ideas and technical implementations, focusing on the data aspect of various projects. Key qualities for this role include initiative, proactivity, and teamwork, which are hallmarks of our A&I division.

Responsibilities

Designing Solutions
- Develop IT solutions that satisfy both functional and non-functional client requirements while adhering to the Enterprise IT architecture.
- Contribute to building our application landscape, comprising on-premise and cloud applications, packaged solutions, and in-house Java development.

Implementation and Oversight:
- Oversee the realization of the solutions you design, ensuring they are executed effectively.
- Document architectural decisions thoroughly for future reference and governance.

Governance and Collaboration:
- Participate in and contribute to necessary architecture governance processes and boards.
- Translate specific business requirements into necessary changes within the application landscape.
- Ensure solutions are "fit for purpose" and aligned with frameworks set by Enterprise Architects.
- Work closely with Technical and Functional Application Architects, Data Architects, and Infrastructure Architects to leverage their detailed knowledge and collaboratively develop solutions.

Guidelines and Standards
- Help develop and maintain Way of Working guidelines for Solution & Application Architecture across various projects.
- Ensure adherence to these guidelines within individual projects.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical architecture standards and guidelines, driven by business needs and requirements.

Qualifications

- Extensive experience in designing and implementing IT solutions.
- Strong understanding of both on-premise and cloud-based applications.
- Proficiency in Java development and packaged solutions.
- Excellent documentation skills for architectural decisions.
- Experience in governance processes and working with governance boards.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other architects and technical experts.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
