With a focus on building and maintaining operational excellence, our client's Technology Infrastructure and Operations team plays a crucial role in supporting their multi-cloud infrastructure, software, hardware, and business systems.

Responsibilities:

  • The selected candidate will be responsible for creating and validating both conceptual and physical data models to support operational data platform initiatives.
  • Conducting thorough data profiling and analysis to understand the structure, quality, and relationships within datasets.
  • Analysing reports, datasets, and documentation from various systems and teams to extract valuable insights.
  • Collaborating closely with data engineers and architects to design and implement efficient data models.
  • Defining reference data and processes for maintaining it, including necessary mappings.
  • Identifying and proposing solutions for data quality issues to ensure high-quality data standards.


Requirements:

  • Exceptional SQL skills and experience in data profiling.
  • Proficiency with databases, including the Snowflake platform.
  • Strong understanding of relational and dimensional data modelling concepts and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or equivalent cloud technologies.
  • Outstanding communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of IT assets and technical services operations is advantageous.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI is beneficial but not essential.
