B2B Marketing Manager (part-time)

£50,000 (flex) (pro rata'd to 3 days a week, flexi time)

  • B2B/professional services marketing experience with solid content creation skills
  • Experience in the events sector
  • Able to work in London Bridge min one day a week

Our client is a successful and reputable creative events agency with an exciting new opening for a Marketing Manager to support their 2024 growth strategy. This is a new role for the agency and you'll be their only marketing specialist, so it comes with a lot of ownership and freedom.

With a strong leaning towards B2B and corporate their specialism lies in impactful and innovative investor meetings, leadership conferences, employee engagement events and summits. They fully embrace the use of pioneering technology for maximum impact and engagement including animation and video production, stage set design, web development and registration, mobile apps, broadcast solutions and live streaming through to interactive audience engagement technologies.

You'll be responsible for managing the delivery of all marketing activity to support growth and new business and strengthening relationships with clients, suppliers and the event industry. There is a big focus on content creation across all platforms aswell as budget management.

Along with developing and executing the annual marketing and communications plan, you will be keeping abreast of industry news, and deciding on new ideas and ways of approaching the marketing strategy. You'll own the planning and execution of all marketing activity, reporting back and using learnings to shape future campaigns.

The perfect candidate will have excellent experience in a B2B/professional services setting and know exactly how to target businesses in industries such as FS, recruitment, insurance, engineering, legal, IT etc. You should have a solid grasp of marketing tech tools such as CRMs, design etc and also organic social media experience.

Some of your responsibilities will involve;

Generate content for lead generation eg emails, LinkedIn reach out, blog posts, monthly newsletters

Manage social media calendar

Design and build email marketing and targeted emails

Maintain and update the company website including writing / adding new case studies, blog posts and keeping up to date with changes in the industry

Community management (engage with posts, follow clients and suppliers, increase social media engagement with the purpose of expanding our reach and brand recognition)
