Major Players are working with a dynamic boutique creative content agency, known for our innovative approach and focus on delivering exceptional results for our clients. We are looking for a passionate and driven Account Director to join our team and take charge of managing high-level client relationships while steering the strategic and creative direction of our projects.

As an Account Director, you will be the driving force behind ensuring client satisfaction, overseeing the execution of creative campaigns, and managing the delivery of projects. You'll work directly with major B2B technology clients to fully understand their goals, offering them innovative and tailored solutions that set them apart in their industry. You will serve as the key liaison between the agency and our clients, ensuring alignment between their business needs and our creative strategies.

This role will be hybrid working out of their offices in the middle of Shoreditch.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Services:

  • Oversee the management of key client accounts, ensuring long-term relationships and a deep understanding of their needs.
  • Foster strong partnerships with clients, identifying opportunities to expand services and grow the accounts.
  • Actively challenge briefs and lead creative teams to deliver the best possible outcomes.

Project Management & Creative Oversight:

  • Maintain visibility across all projects, facilitating collaboration between the creative team and project managers.
  • Ensure seamless execution of projects, from conception to delivery, meeting the highest quality standards and agreed-upon goals.
  • Attend resource and budget meetings to ensure efficient allocation of resources.

Finance & Forecasting:

  • Lead bi-weekly budget meetings, working closely with the PM team to present forecasts and financial updates to senior leadership.
  • Monitor account performance, ensuring projects stay within budget while meeting financial targets.
  • Generate proposals and assist project managers in developing accurate cost estimates.
  • Participate in monthly meetings with financial teams to review profitability and account health.

  • Communication & Negotiation Skills: A natural communicator who can lead client presentations and effectively negotiate outcomes that benefit both the client and agency.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Strong leadership abilities to manage, mentor, and develop teams while maintaining balanced workloads.
  • Commercial Acumen: Sharp business insight with a deep understanding of creative processes, budgeting, and profitability management.
