Job description

Business Development Manager (media consultancy & saas platform)

£40-55k basic plus bonus

* Must have sales experience in the media and advertising sector, ideally from an agency and/or a saas platform *

Our client is a market leading advertising consultancy working with brands and agencies including the likes of Starbucks, Virgin Atlantic, Hendrick's, National Express, Lidl, Moet Hennessy, Fever-Tree and many more.

Along with their long established consultancy arm, they have an exciting new Saas platform with cutting edge editorial content for the media and marketing industry. Their aim is to be an informative and disruptive voice whilst being an extension of an agency's marketing strategy.

The role of Business Development Manager is to leverage their trusted position in the industry to convert prospects into revenue. You'll need a min of 3 years experience in a business development/sales role and a passion for sales and driving revenue is critical. You'll be responsible for building and managing sales pipeline with companies and contacts via targeted research sourced trade press and data sources (e.g. LinkedIn).

We need to see previous experience of arranging, meeting, and converting prospect brands, a real interest in the creative industries and a genuine understanding of the dynamics involved between brands and agencies. You'll need to be a highly organised approach to sales with a quick, proactive style and an ease in collaborating with senior leadership to harness brand network and cross-sell opportunities.

It's essential that applicants have some experience in Saas selling and/or agency side business development. You'll be using HubSpot to capture accurate pipeline information and reporting so some previous experience would be great.

Based in stunning shared offices in Soho, they have a x2 day a week hybrid policy and a range of fab benefits including private medical cover, pension, healthcare, bonuses etc

The culture here is incredibly nurturing and collaborative - they pride themselves on being a supportive and encouraging environment where growth and learning are highly encouraged. There will be plenty of opportunity to build your career and learn.
