Kamila Kassim joined our freelance marketing team as a Senior Talent Partner, specialising in digital and performancing. She's placing highly capable Paid Media Managers, CRM Managers, Performance Account Managers, Brand Managers, and Marketing Managers at ambitious businesses to support their scaling efforts.

Get to know the woman behind the role:

Tell us a little bit about your background

I was born and raised in Paris and moved to the UK to expand my career and work in an English-speaking environment. I come from a life sciences and tech recruitment background, where I built experience working in fast-paced, highly technical markets. Alongside this, I invested in a marketing mentorship and gained hands-on exposure working with a fashion brand, which developed my interest in digital marketing and performance. Bringing together recruitment and marketing felt like a natural next step, allowing me to connect both skill sets in my current role.

What team have you joined, and what will you be responsible for?

I’ve joined the Digital Performance Freelance team, where I focus on roles across paid media, performance marketing, CRM, digital marketing, brand, and account management. I work closely with clients and freelance talent to support hiring across the digital and performance space.

What excites you most about joining Major Players?

Major Players has a strong reputation for its deep understanding of the marketing and performance landscape, alongside a genuinely people-first culture. I’m excited to be part of a business that values expertise, relationships, and long-term impact, and to grow within a team that’s truly embedded in the creative and digital industries.

What trends are you seeing in your area of expertise or the wider talent market right now?

There’s increasing demand for performance-led marketers who can combine data, creativity, and commercial thinking. CRM and lifecycle roles are continuing to grow, with more focus on retention and long-term value. Across the market, candidates are also placing greater importance on flexibility, culture, and purpose.

Outside of work, what do you like to get up to?

Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, trying new things, and exploring different cultures. I’m always keen to experience new perspectives and environments.

I’m naturally curious and people-driven, and I enjoy continuously learning and investing in my own development. I bring a thoughtful, relationship-led approach to everything I do.
