For more than 30 years, we’ve connected creative and marketing talent with ambitious businesses - and as technology evolves, so does our responsibility to be transparent in how we use it.
We’re committed to ensuring that AI is used ethically and responsibly, supporting people rather than replacing them. Our AI principles, which are reviewed every six months, have been carefully curated to ensure transparency and accountability in our use of AI:
Fairness & Inclusivity
We will continue to monitor and mitigate bias in any tools we use, ensuring that AI-supported decisions remain equitable, transparent, and people-first.
Human-Centric Approach
Technology should enhance human capability, not replace it. AI can provide valuable insights and efficiencies, but human judgment, empathy, and experience will always be essential to our recruitment and decision-making. We maintain human oversight at every stage to ensure decisions are guided by integrity and understanding.
Transparency & Accountability
We may sometimes use AI to improve efficiency and provide data-driven insights, but our people remain responsible for applying experience, empathy, and context. We do not use AI to screen or assess applications – every candidate is reviewed and evaluated by our team. Nor is it used for final hiring decisions. Human oversight remains in every stage of our processes to ensure decisions are made with integrity and understanding.
Compliance, Data Privacy & Security
We comply with all relevant data protection and cybersecurity regulations, handling personal information responsibly and using it only for its intended purpose. We also take steps to ensure that any AI systems we use, are cross corroborated, to ensure the information is reliable and accurate. We never put any personal or sensitive data into open-sourced AI tools that are not secure.
Collaboration & Responsibility
Those who design or deploy AI remain responsible for its outcomes, and we hold ourselves to that same standard. We use AI to enhance experiences and improve results, ensuring that technology serves the best interests of our clients, candidates, and wider community.
Continous Improvement
AI is constantly evolving, and so are we. We’ll continue to learn, adapt, and review how we use technology to make sure it remains ethical, effective, and human-focused. Regular training and reflection help us maintain high standards, ensuring AI supports our mission to build stronger, fairer, and more meaningful connections.
How We're Using AI
At Major Players, we’re exploring how AI can responsibly enhance the way we connect talent, clients, and opportunity - helping us work smarter, make fairer decisions, and create more meaningful experiences across the Creative Industries.
Currently, we use AI for the following tasks:
o Streamlining everyday admin – automating repetitive processes so our consultants can focus more time on building relationships
o Enhancing job descriptions and adverts – helping to identify and reduce biased language to make opportunities more inclusive and accessible
o Supporting our market insights – helping to analyse large volumes of industry data to surface trends and help our audiences make more informed decision making
o Improving note taking and communications – using AI tools to summarise information taken in meetings and on calls
o Strengthening learning and development – levering tools for training support, content creation, and skill building resources
We will continue to invest in existing and new AI-driven technologies, both internally and externally, that will enable us to better connect talent, help realise true potential, foster greater inclusive employment opportunities, and help shape the future of work. Through these principles, we aim to foster trust, enhance efficiency, and promote fairness in every recruitment process we undertake, ensuring that AI is used as a tool for good.
