The Future is ND presents ND Leaders 02, at the snazzy Wunderman Thompson venue on Hampstead Road. With drinks and snacks included, and the opportunity to mingle with and hear from your neurodivergent peers and allies.

As the Creative and Tech industries become more aware of neurodiversity, it’s vital to have visible neurodivergent leaders who, as well as bringing specialist skills to the table, have the understanding and empathy to effectively and inspire those, like them, who want to succeed.

TPF x NOW Gallery: exhibition tour + co-working day

Spend the day in North Greenwich - to work on projects, meet like-minded creatives and see the NOW Gallery space!

On the first Friday of the month, TPF open our doors for creatives to use our office space to work on projects, meet new people and be in a creative and supportive environment. Working as a freelancer, applying for jobs or working from home isn't easy - so come and join the TPF community to meet new people and get work done!

For November's co-working day, we have partnered with NOW Gallery to bring you something a little different.

We will start the day with a guided exhibition tour of NOW's newest show, Human Stories: The Satirists, a group show of emerging photographic talent exploring the concept of satire through photography, and particularly how it is used to develop and nurture interconnected, diverse identities, gender, race and class. We will then host a discussion about the show and invite attendees back to TPF Studio to continue connecting and working, hopefully feeling energised and inspired by the show!

Nicer Tuesday: Talks from Creatives

 In typical Nicer Tuesdays’ style, they collected the very best creative talent to share with you the insights and practices that they’ve picked up along the way.

November’s edition will see the likes of Tori West, founder and editor-in-chief of Bricks magazine; Kalvadour Peterson (KLVDR), whose directorial flair can be spotted in Stormzy’s latest music video; Ollie Olanipekun, the creative force behind bird-watching collective Flock Together and creative studio Futurimpose; and Ruby Etc., who is known for her painfully accurate yet hilariously introspective illustrations. The speakers will delve into the difficult yet necessary moments in their creative journeys, what they’ve learnt, and how they use this knowledge to empower their own practice and the next generation of creatives.

As this is an 18+ event, please bring ID with you to the venue. 


UX Design Masterclass

Design for Planet Festival 2022

Join The Design Council this November as we take ACTION in the fight against climate change.

The award-winning festival is back and this year with the theme being ACTION.

Join them online to explore how design is responding to the climate emergency and what we can do today, together.

What is Entrepreneurship in Creative Business

The museum welcomes and values design in every form – from product ideas to fashion labels to tech. We want design to be accessible to everyone and we invite you to be part of this mission.

Future Strategy Club presents INSPIRE

Inspire is a quarterly event where we host a wide range of top level talent through creative talks and intimate ‘on the sofa’ conversations to celebrate the launch of the latest issue of the FSC Mag.

FSC speakers are a range of both our senior members and external industry leading experts who'll share their insight on the topic.

It’s super fun and interactive too with pop-up food by our favourite local chefs, pop-up art exhibitions, beers and a live DJ set. The latest issue titled - Your Creative Job Won't Exist Tomorrow (and what you can do about it) is focused on supporting our peers to look at how their specialisms and industries are rapidly changing and the skills, trends and tech developments they should be exploring to keep up with those changes.


Womxn in Animation

This is a free panel discussion bringing together Black women and non-binary artists in the animation and visual arts sector. Panelists include Jessica Ashman, Phoebe Boswell, Mothy Muyobo and Maybelle Peters.

It’s not easy building a business from scratch. Join us for an evening connecting with like-minded creative industry upstarts and disruptors, and hear from people at the top of their game.

Speakers include Gregory Stanley (Off License Magazine/AudioActive) + special guests TBA. After the show, there will be a relaxed, facilitated networking event in Roundhouse Bar & Cafe to connect with other entrepreneurs, freelancers and changemakers in the creative industries.

This event is part of our Self Made series for creative industry freelancers and entrepreneurs aged 18-30. UN-SCENE x Self Made is a special collaboration between Roundhouse and Accelerator alumni Chris McGuire (Rum Shack Glastonbury). A reboot of the ‘speakers and networking’ series, this is a unique opportunity to hear industry stories and insider tips from CEO’s and Founders who have turned their Music Industry vision into reality.


Creative Futures Talks: Time Management and Building Healthy Habits

Join creative founders to explore the importance of time management and balancing healthy habits when starting your own business. This guest talk forms part of UAL's Creative Futures, a 12-month programme of business support, training and mentoring for young creatives (18-25) living in South London.

Join the UAL Creative Futures team along with guest speaker Samantha Newell, Co-Founder of YARD+PARISH, who will share what it's like to be self-employed and run your own business. In this discursive event, we will explore approaches and tools for time management and building your venture from a foundation of healthy habits.

Find out how to prioritise and allocate time to tasks and goals, identify and mitigate against your limiting factors, whilst acknowledging and redefining the concept of 'productivity'.

There will be short presentations and an open Q&A as part of the event.
