The Majors 2019

Back to Blogs

The Majors, now in its fifth year is our independent awards event that celebrates the best in creative, tech, and design. The awards ceremony took place at Protein studios with around 300 attendees from the creative, digital, and tech industries.

Created in conjunction with The Drum to celebrate those that have produced exceptional work in their respective fields over the past year, we received nearly 400 entries across 13 different categories, with the calibre of submissions extending to some of the world’s biggest and best brands.

Among those to take home, an award was the brand agency Amplify, which received an award for Major Agency. Jennifer Woodhouse was awarded Major Freelancer and Matt Lambert received Major Business Developer for his work at TMW Unlimited.

Diversity is at the forefront at the moment with many new initiatives creating change for the greater good. Ideas Foundation took the title of Major Diversity Champion in recognition of its work to educate a new generation of creatives in students, schools, and agencies.

The Majors doesn’t just award teams and individuals working in the creative industry but also highlights a brand, voted by the public, which has made headway over the last year. This year Deliveroo was titled Major Brand having changed the restaurant scene with its streamlined, innovative, and accessible app.

We want to say a massive thank you to everyone who entered and attended The Majors 19 and congratulations again to our Major winners. We hope to see you all again next year!
