Around 250 of the best in creative, design and tech congregated in Hoxton last night for The Majors 2018, an evening which saw incredible talent and innovation rewarded.
Celebrating those that have aced in their respective fields over the past year, The Majors 18 received nearly 400 entries across 14 different categories making this year the biggest yet, and the quality of the work was exceptional.
Among those to take home an award was the creative and PR agency Taylor Herring, who received an award for both Major Agency and Major PR. Lauren Stacy was awarded Major Freelancer and Fran Brook received Major Business Developer for her work with MullenLowe.
Diversity is at the forefront at the moment with many new initiatives creating change for the greater good. It, therefore, seemed only fitting this year that we highlight those that are working to make real change in the industry. Creative Mentor Network took the title of Major Diversity Champion and are improving the creative sector by linking BAME individuals with aspirational role models.
The Majors does not just award teams and individuals working in the creative industry but also highlights a brand, chosen by the public, that has made headway over the last year delivering campaigns and content that have inspired, encouraged and diversified their industry. This year Netflix was crowned the Major Brand having changed the way we consume content.
As well as the awards, those who were came were treated to an evening of entertainment and some great networking.
