Job description

We’re working with a consulting business that’s entering an exciting phase of growth and is looking to bring in an <strong>Account-Based Marketing Manager</strong> on an ongoing contract basis.<br> <br> This role sits at the heart of Marketing and Business Development, owning the account-based marketing and lead generation strategy to support new business growth. It’s a hands-on, commercially focused role for someone who enjoys both strategy and execution, with the opportunity to shape how ABM is delivered across the UK market<br> <br> <strong>Key Responsibilities</strong> <ul> <li>Own and deliver the account-based marketing and lead generation strategy to support new business growth <li>Develop and execute highly targeted, personalised outbound campaigns by industry, role, region and business challenge <li>Manage and nurture inbound leads from website, events, email and social channels, qualifying them into sales-ready prospects <li>Research target accounts, industries and market trends to deeply understand client pain points and buying triggers <li>Craft compelling messaging, storytelling and copy that positions solutions as answers to client challenges <li>Plan, launch and optimise ABM and demand generation campaigns across digital, social, email, events and webinars <li>Measure performance, report on pipeline impact and continuously optimise campaigns using data and insights <li>Own CRM data quality, pipeline tracking and reporting <li>Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, BD, Solutions and Creative teams </ul> <br> <strong>Skills & Experience</strong> <ul> <li>Strong experience delivering account-based marketing and/or demand generation campaigns <li>Comfortable building and integrating a MarComms stack (e.g. LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce, Cognism, Salesloft) <li>Confident working closely with Business Development and engaging directly with prospects <li>Strong copywriting, storytelling and messaging skills <li>Data-driven mindset with experience reporting on pipeline and conversion performance <li>Experience using CRM and marketing automation tools </ul> <br> <strong>Project Scope & Duration: </strong>January 2026 start & ongoing contract<br> <br> <strong>Day Rate: </strong>TBC<br> <br> <strong>Location & Workplace Policy: </strong>London based office, hybrid model (2-3 days pw office based)<br> <br> <strong>IR35 Status: </strong>TBC<br> <br> Our freelance roles move quickly, so if you're interested in being considered for this opportunity, please submit your credentials and availability as soon as possible.<br> <br> Major Players are the UK’s leading marketing and creative talent agency, and over the last three decades we’ve consistently championed our people and communities.
