<p>I’m partnering with a fast-growing <strong>ad tech platform</strong> to hire a <strong>Social and Content Manager</strong>.</p> <p> </p> <p>This platform works with thousands of creators across the UK, setting new standards in short-form video content. With rapid growth in the market, this role offers the chance to own and execute social media strategy, produce viral content, and engage directly with a large creator network.</p> <p> </p> <p>This role is ideal for someone proactive, creative, and hands-on, with the confidence to take ownership of campaigns from concept through execution, while shaping how the brand connects with its audience across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p><strong>Content Creation & Social Strategy</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own and execute the UK social media content strategy for the ad tech platform across TikTok, Reels, and Shorts. <li>Shoot, edit, and optionally present short-form videos that educate, inspire, and engage the creator community. <li>Translate text briefs into exciting video content, demonstrating exactly what creators need to produce. </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Creator & Community Engagement</strong></p> <ul> <li>Identify and leverage trending audio and visual trends to maximise reach. <li>Respond to creator questions and feedback through video replies and comment interactions. </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Performance & Reporting</strong></p> <ul> <li>Track engagement, views, and retention metrics to optimise future content. <li>Analyse high-performing videos and refine scripts, formats, and styles accordingly. </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Team & Stakeholder Collaboration</strong></p> <ul> <li>Work closely with marketing, product, and brand teams to align content with business objectives. <li>Bring creative ideas forward to improve processes and elevate content quality. </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Skills & Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proven experience in social media strategy and management and short-form content creation <li>Strong knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, Reels, and Shorts, including trends, culture, and algorithms. <li>Hands-on video production and editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Rush, or similar). <li>Confident on-camera presence and clear, engaging storytelling. <li>Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, creative environment. <li>Data-driven and growth-focused, with a strong understanding of engagement metrics. </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Personal Attributes</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proactive, resourceful, and self-motivated. <li>Comfortable working in a start up environment. <li>Bold, creative thinker with attention to detail. <li>Trend-aware, commercially minded, and socially savvy. <li>Confident taking ownership of campaigns from concept to execution. </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Salary & Benefits</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Salary:</strong> £34K - £45K <li>25 days holiday plus bank holidays <li>Central London office <li>Pension scheme <li>Regular team socials and collaborative, high-energy environment <li>High autonomy and creative freedom </ul> <p> </p> <p>If this sounds like you, send your CV to maddy.worger@majorplayers.co.uk</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Please note that due to the large number of applications, I will only be able to respond to suitable candidates.</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>Major Players are the UK's leading digital, marketing, and creative talent agency, and over the last 30 years we've consistently championed our people and communities.
