<p><strong>Role: </strong>Freelance Senior Social Consultant – £500/day<br> <strong>Start date:</strong> w/c 22nd September 2025 <br> <strong>Duration:</strong> Initial pitch support ahead of October, followed by a 12-month part-time retainer (monthly project fee)<br> <strong>Location:</strong> Remote-first, with occasional workshops in London <br> <strong>Rate:</strong> £500per day (retainer paid monthly still to be discussed)</p> <p>I'm working with a leading marketing agency who partner with some of the world’s biggest brands. They are looking for a <strong>Senior Social Consultant</strong> to join their team, supporting one of their flagship clients in the <strong>manufacturing and retail sector</strong>.</p> <h3>The Role</h3> <p>You’ll act as a senior-level consultant, working closely with the agency’s dedicated client team to strengthen their global proposition. This role requires both strategic oversight and practical recommendations – helping to shape the future of the client’s social approach across European markets.</p> <p>Key responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Auditing the client’s current social media strategy and content approach.</p> <li> <p>Identifying opportunities to elevate and expand the offering for next year’s proposition.</p> <li> <p>Advising on best practices across multiple European markets.</p> <li> <p>Supporting senior agency stakeholders with strategic direction, recommendations and workshops.</p> </ul> <h3>About You</h3> <ul> <li> <p>Proven <strong>consultancy background</strong> with experience delivering senior-level social projects.</p> <li> <p>***Important - Experience working on <strong>central marketing across European markets***</strong></p> <li> <p>Strong knowledge of the <strong>manufacturing and retail industries</strong>.</p> <li> <p>Comfortable presenting to and advising <strong>senior client stakeholders</strong>.</p> <li> <p>Able to balance <strong>big-picture strategic thinking</strong> with actionable recommendations.</p> </ul> <p>If you are a <strong>senior consultant</strong> with experience guiding large-scale social projects across Europe and want to support a <strong>global client with a 12-month retainer</strong>, I'd love to hear from you.</p> <p>💌 Please send your CV, relevant consultancy project examples, and availability to: Ella.augustin@majorplayers.co.uk</p>
