<h3><span style="font-size: 15.21px;"><strong>Freelance Creative/Art Director (Retail)</strong></span><br> <br> <span style="font-size: 13.0px;">This is a hands-on freelance opportunity for a Creative / Art Director who thrives on making beautiful, effective work at speed. You’ll be embedded within a collaborative agency team, shaping integrated creative across multiple channels for one of the UK’s biggest retail brands. From directing food shoots to crafting social-first assets, this role offers the chance to get properly stuck in, influence the work, and see your ideas brought to life at scale.</span></h3> <h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3> <p>• Lead and deliver creative and art direction across integrated campaigns, including in-store POS, OOH, digital and social<br> • Be hands-on with layouts, visual development and asset creation, not just high-level direction<br> • Art direct and lead food photography and film shoots, working closely with photographers, videographers and production teams<br> • Create engaging social-first content, with a strong understanding of platform-specific best practice and food trends<br> • Collaborate closely with other creatives and wider agency stakeholders to deliver work against retail calendars and seasonal moments<br> • Respond positively to feedback, iterating and refining work in a fast-moving retail environment<br> <br> <strong>Skills & Experience</strong></p> <p>• Proven experience as a Creative / Art Director, ideally within food retail or FMCG<br> • Strong, hands-on craft skills with excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud<br> • Experience art directing shoots and working confidently on set<br> • Solid understanding of integrated campaigns across physical and digital touchpoints<br> • Strong social media knowledge, particularly creating and shaping food content for film<br> • Experience using Figma and familiarity with AI tools is a bonus</p> <h3><strong>Salary & Benefits</strong></h3> <p>• £450 per day<br> • Initial booking from 26th January through to end of February<br> • Potential extension into mid-March<br> • Opportunity to work on high-profile, large-scale retail campaigns<br> <br> <span style="font-size: 11.0pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri , sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 9.0pt;"><span style="">If you would like a confidential chat about this role or your next career move, then please get in contact with me: lemeez.hendricks@majorplayers.co.uk or connect via LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/lemeez-hendricks/</span></span></span></span><br> <br> <span style="font-size: 11.0pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri , sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 9.0pt;"><span style="">Major Players are the UK’s leading marketing and creative talent agency, and over the last three decades we’ve consistently championed our people and communities.
