Job description

One of the world's most prestigious luxury houses is looking for a Digital Media Manager to take global ownership of paid social and programmatic, at a moment when its whole approach to media is being redesigned.

Until now, brand media and performance sat in separate teams. Now they sit in a single role. You'll own the full funnel from awareness through to conversion, with clear commercial KPIs and a dotted line into the Chief Digital Officer to keep media tightly aligned with ecommerce.

This is luxury, so it's never about chasing cheap clicks. Customers take their time, price points are exceptional, and the brand has to be protected at every touchpoint. The challenge is making media work hard commercially without it ever feeling like performance marketing. You'll be the person who holds that balance.

You'll lead two agency partners, go deep into platform backends, and work alongside the C-suite on how media shapes the business globally. If you understand the push and pull between brand equity and commercial targets, and you're technical enough to challenge an agency on its own numbers, this is a rare opportunity.

** 5 days the office **

Key Responsibilities

Lead global paid media strategy across Meta, YouTube, Pinterest and programmatic display

Own full-funnel planning that balances brand objectives with commercial KPIs, from awareness through to conversion

Oversee media planning, budgeting, pacing and optimisation across all channels and markets

Act as primary point of contact for both the digital and media agencies, driving efficiency, standards and accountability

Go into platform backends to interrogate agency strategy, execution and reporting, and challenge confidently where needed

Analyse performance independently, turning data into clear insight and recommendations

Partner with Brand, Digital and regional Marketing Leads to keep media, creative and messaging aligned

Manage platform partner relationships to access beta testing and industry insight

Own budget planning, expenditure reporting and monthly and quarterly performance reporting for senior leadership

Skills & Experience Required

5+ years' experience managing paid digital media, brand-side or agency-side

Luxury sector experience is essential (any luxury category, not necessarily the same one)

A genuine understanding of long consideration windows and high-value customer journeys

Strong technical expertise across paid social and programmatic, confident working hands-on in platforms

Proven ability to balance brand-led objectives with performance KPIs

Experience leading and holding external agencies accountable

Commercially minded, with a strong grasp of ecommerce metrics

International market experience is a plus

Why Apply?

Own global paid media for one of the most recognised names in luxury

Help define a newly structured, full-funnel role at a pivotal moment for the team

Work directly with the CDO, CMO and senior leadership

If you would like a confidential chat about this role or your next career move, please get in contact with: coco.young@majorplayers.co.uk

Major Players are the UK's leading digital, marketing, and creative talent agency, and over the last 30 years we've consistently championed our people and communities.
