Job description

Job Summary

Major Players is partnering with a growing consumer food brand to find a mid-senior Brand Designer for its in-house team.

This is an opportunity for a hands-on designer to work across brand campaigns, identity, print and physical customer touchpoints. The proposed remit combines campaign design with brand guardianship, helping the business maintain a distinctive and consistent visual identity across its communications.

The team is looking for someone who can deliver independently, challenge briefs constructively and manage their own workload. Applications are welcomed from designers working in-house or agency-side.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

Develop brand campaign design across relevant customer touchpoints.

Maintain and evolve the brand's visual identity through day-to-day design work.

Create print, menu and in-store collateral.

Develop presentation materials and brand-system work.

Challenge and improve briefs rather than simply executing instructions.

Manage your own priorities and deliver work with limited oversight.

Skills & Experience

Around 4-8 years' relevant design experience, gained in-house or agency-side. Candidates with more experience are also welcome; relevant capability and independent delivery matter more than years alone.

A portfolio showing clear depth in brand-led design, with your personal contribution identified.

Relevant examples across campaign design, identity, brand systems, print, menus, in-store collateral or presentations.

Evidence of owning projects and managing your workload independently.

Confidence explaining design decisions and responding constructively to a brief.

Personal Attributes

Self-sufficient and proactive in taking work forward.

Comfortable questioning a brief constructively.

Organised when balancing competing priorities.

Interested in a hands-on, office-based in-house role.

Salary & Benefits

£45,000-£60,000, depending on experience.

Additional package and benefits details will be discussed once confirmed for this role.

Location & Workplace

London, with four days per week in the office.

How to apply

If this sounds like the right fit, apply with your CV and portfolio. Please show your personal contribution to the work where possible.

If you would like a confidential chat about this opportunity or your next career move, please connect with Keely Kritz via LinkedIn, sharing your experience and availability.

Major Players is the UK's leading marketing and creative talent agency.
