Supporting Asahi

As the company’s largest market outside Japan, generating a 13% YoY increase resulting in $5.4 billion in revenue in 2024, Asahi Europe decided to launch a regional in-house team to properly leverage its growing market capital. Asahi's investment in digital innovation and brand-building with the creation of an in-house agency in Woking, Surrey, needed strong leadership to see that strategy come to fruition. We secured three specialist senior hires in just a few weeks, ensuring all critical functions were covered from day one.

The approach

Our team partnered closely with Asahi Europe’s leadership to understand the agency’s structure and needs.

  • Ran a highly targeted search for senior leaders with both creative excellence and agency-side expertise
  • With a hard launch date, we worked to deliver suitable candidates within the tight timeframe
  • Delivered three senior hires: Head of Operations, Head of Client Services, and Head of Creative Excellence
  • Shortlisted 2–3 candidates per role, managing a streamlined process with pre-booked interviews
  • Balanced technical expertise with alignment to Asahi’s values and culture
  • Continued to support wider team build-out with permanent and freelance hires post-launch

The impact

With its leadership team secured, Asahi successfully launched a high-performing in-house agency on schedule. Our ability to deliver top-tier talent without compromising on quality meant the team was ready to deliver creative excellence for each brand in Asahi’s portfolio.
