<p>Major Players are partnering with a reputable, full service creative agency to recruit for a Strategy Director.</p>
<p>This is a key hire for the company - you will be an influential member of the leadership team, charged with helping the agency grow and nurture its client roster, working closely with client teams, the Head of Strategy and reporting to the MD, to deliver best-in-class thinking.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Insight & Strategy</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Demonstrate a strong ability to distil and crystalise learnings into deep audience first, data-driven insights and integrated, strategic narratives.
<li>Write influential briefs, leading to fresh, disruptive, and impactful work.
<li>Be up to date with innovative research techniques and trends to integrate into the planning process.
</ul>
<p><strong>New Business Development:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Create strategic content and door opening narratives for bespoke new client approaches, working on pitches and converting wins.
<li>Write pitch-winning decks across a broad range of briefs: purpose, brand and product.
<li>Influence clients and build lasting relationships.
</ul>
<p><strong>Championing Effectivness:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Turn successful work into effectiveness case studies that win awards, based on solid marketing theory and models.
</ul>
<p><strong>Client Development:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Build and maintain lasting and memorable relationships with clients and stakeholders.
<li>Develop new relationships as well as organically growing business with existing accounts.
</ul>
<p><strong>Skills & Experience:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>At least 8 years of strategy experience, ideally with experience working in an independent agency.
<li>Broad experience in Brand (Strategy, Design, Campaigns), Product Marketing and Direct response.
<li>Proven experience delivering strategy and campaigns across a broad range of projects with stand out, memorable creative and ideally award-winning.
<li>Proven experience working on pitches and new business – this needs to be an area you enjoy and excel in as it will be a big part of your role.
<li>Team management experience – you will nurture and grow the team and have at least 2-3 direct reports.

<li>Excellent communication skills and strong gravitas and creative flair – you will be part of big creative/strategic ideas and in the room with industry and brand leaders – you must be able to showcase and articulate your knowledge and experience.
<li>Be able to challenge and disrupt the ideation and creative process.
<li>A problem solver – you need to provide efficient and effective strategic leadership to create award winning and impactful creative.
<li>A self-starter, entrepreneurial and resourceful – you need to be able to meet the evolving and changing needs of clients.
</ul>
<p><strong>Salary:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>£70-80,000 depending on experience
</ul>
<p><strong>Location & Workplace Policy:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>South East London office location
<li>Hybrid working, Tuesday to Thursday
<li>Open to a 4 day working week or 9 day fortnight
