Major Players are delighted to announce our new partnership with the world’s most influential professional body for practitioners in advertising and marketing communications - the IPA.
The partnership offers our freelancers half-price IPA membership and accreditation as well as 100 hours of free learning.
Like us, the IPA strongly encourages the kind of career development that not only supports our in-house teams but all of our clients and candidates.
Our Director of Marketing, Allison Upton, said: “It is important that we can offer our clients the most qualified candidates possible, and developing an industry-wide mark of professionalism is an important way to do this. We are delighted to be able to offer our loyal freelancers this exciting opportunity, which will give them additional tools needed to become recognised for their expertise.”
The IPA have recently confirmed that over 1000 industry employees are on the brink of becoming professionally qualified through their rigorous MIPA Accreditation scheme.
Qualifications range from the entry-level IPA Foundation Certificate to boardroom MBA, covering all the major practice areas: brand and strategy, people and leadership, creativity, and commercial.
Patrick Mills, IPA’s Director of Membership and Professional Development, said: “Becoming an Accredited MIPA will enable you to show your value and experience to clients and should be worn with pride. It is highly competitive landscape, both for individuals and agencies, so we should all be looking for any advantage that we can get. Becoming an Accredited MIPA is a great way of separating yourself from the pack.”
