It’s that time of year again, when all these wonderful ads are brought to our attention and either makes us laugh, cry or very uncomfortable.

Created by Adam & Eve/DDB, and probably the most anticipated Christmas ad. This year John Lewis has decided to give us something joyful and humorous instead of the usual tear jerker. We get introduced to the happy bouncing boxer who gets the gift he has always wanted. This ad sure helps lift everyone’s spirits!
M and S
We loved this ad and the fact that it focuses on Mrs Clause just makes it even more brilliant. Described as the most customer centric ad ever done by M and S. The three-minute launch ad, created by Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R, shows Mrs Claus acting on a letter written to her by a young boy called Jake who wants to do something special for his sister, Anna. "She epitomises the huge efforts our customers put in to making the festive season special and represents the love and togetherness that customers want to feel and see in abundance at Christmas."
This year Sainsbury’s has decided to move on from Mog and go for a stop frame animation ad featuring James Corden, Bret McKenzie and a cast of puppets. Done by Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO, this ad has captured ‘The Gratest Gift’ which is being surrounded by family during the holidays. We also love how Sainsbury’s has represented all families "This year is no exception and we think many families will be able to relate to the idea that Christmas can be such a busy time that it can be hard to prioritise simple family time together. We hope our advert will remind people of that while providing some light hearted entertainment for the whole family to enjoy."
This ad follows the perilous journey of a robin trying to get home for Christmas. Completed by Adam & Eve/DDB, this ad pulls on those heartstrings, as the robin must overcome many obstacles to get home. Also it is accompanied by a children’s book based on the ad.
