Video Editor

Creative, Design & Studio £ 40,662 per year

Major Players are excited to present an opportunity for a Video Editor to work in Amsterdam for one of the world's leading global food tech companies! Please note you will need to be able to legally work in The Netherlands (eg, already have an EU passport).

As an ever-growing team, our client is looking for a motivated, experienced Editor who is willing to push the creative bar and support the Global Creative Studio and wider business to thrive locally and globally.

You will need to have experience with editing software and a portfolio to show off your previous work. You will need to know how to effectively colour grade using Davinci Resolve.

Any additional experience with sound editing, sound design, and motion graphics, while not essential will be a huge bonus. You should be an excellent communicator, and collaborator and have good organisational skills to ensure you meet deadlines.

Salary: 45,000 Euros + benefits

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

* Editing and sound editing
* Colour grading using Davinci Resolve
* Ensuring all project files are managed and organised correctly, efficiently and effectively
* Backing up projects once they are signed off
* Researching, sourcing and editing music for productions
* Assisting the production team with kit preparation as well as providing occasional on shoot support


* 5+ years' experience
* Bachelor's degree or higher
* Accomplished in Adobe Premier, After Effects, and colour-grading software
* Previous experience working either in-house or in a creative agency
* Excellent communication skills both internally and externally
* A sharp eye for detail and passion for delivering creativity which raises the bar
* Your portfolio should demonstrate experience in editing a wide variety of assets from 6-second social edits to short films
