Are you a UX specialist who is looking to join one of the UK's leading companies and work within a design focused team? You will be working as part of a specialist team that solves complex design problems and constantly seeks to improve user experiences with particular emphasis on accessibility. The team is spilt with UX and UI and are looking for individuals who want to focus on UX rigour working from research through to ideation, you will be coupled with a UI designer, to allow a real depth of thinking and focus in each area.
As some one looking to focus on the user experience elements of a project may be able to demonstrate a knowledge or background in psychology / anthropology or research and structured design thinking for live projects.
Our client is hiring for a variety of levels, the salary, bonus and benefits available are based on an individual's experience for the role:
Lead x 1 up to £81k
Senior x 2 £55-60k
UX designer x 1 £45k
* Your portfolio / case studies will show your commercial experience with a specific focus on UX Design.
* You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to convey complex design concepts clearly to different delivery skill sets within the organisation.
* Proven experience of UCD principles and methodologies, with an ability to conduct competitor analysis & bench marking, create user journeys, user flows, sitemaps, wire frames and interactive prototypes.
* Proven understanding of UCD, human interface guidelines, standards, and best practices as they apply to various platforms and devices.
* Experience of running qualitative user research, quantitative analytic metrics independently or via specialists to aid insight driven design.
* Proficient understanding of the latest tools and applications such as Sketch, Figma, Miro, and Adobe creative suite.
The role is offered on Hybrid working basis
Must be happy to work on site at the offices 2 days a week
