The client is a leading online tech start up within the travel industry who are going through a period of hyper growth due to ongoing success. They have over 30m online users every month and the app is looking to follow suit. They have over 10 offices internationally, working closely and collaboratively through video conferencing. They pride themselves on having a strictly no ego policy and working very collaboratively. The CEO is approachable and always keen to hear new ideas. They have recently received additional investment and in turn are growing out multiple functions across the business.
They are seeking a very senior Research & Insights professional to build the full research function from the ground up, spanning qualitative, quantitative and UX research, researching in to consumers, internal strategy, site usability etc.. You will be responsible for shaping the department and the roles in line with business strategy, consulting and advising on what the wider strategy should look like. You will be the trusted professional with expertise in setting up Insights function and have free reign on shaping this business function. Two growth areas of focus will be developing the app and the partnerships.
You will have experience working across the full spectrum of research including qualitative, quantitative and online User Experience in a similar company; working at an online tech company would be preferable, but experience withing culture, lifestyle and travel also desirable. You will have experiencing growing and developing a team and contributing to the wider business strategy.
