Technical Product Manager

Our client is a close knit and young company making waves in the travel world. They are a ski holiday brand with a local focus.

More than an accommodation booking platform, they're bringing the ski industry up to speed through their family of mountainous locals across the alps. Making sure you never waste a moment when you ski with them.

They are expanding their platform and looking to bring on board an energetic, passionate product manager to help drive their product roadmap forward. They are looking for someone who lives and breathes product and wants to be part of a disruptive business looking to change the industry.

What you'll be doing:



* Taking ownership of our client's product
* Requirement gathering
* Managing workflows and communicating with development teams
* Driving best practice within development and QA
* Monitoring the online sales funnel, new feature creation and product development to help continuous improvement
* Updating stakeholders on project progression
* Working closely with all areas of the business (sales, customer service, marketing, operations & management) to identify problems and work toward solutions
* Gaining a clear understanding of technical requirements needed by all areas of the business, helping to refine the product roadmap
* Working in-between the internal team and their overseas development team, clearly articulating why and how tasks need to be done and managing effective workflows and communication between the two parties

Ideally, we want to speak with you if:



* You have a strong track record of project management and working or managing developers (either UK or overseas)
* You have strong organisational, analytical and critical thinking skills
* You have a continuous improvement mentality
* You're able to be the conduit between technical and non-technical areas of the business.
* You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* You have a team mindset and an ability to collaborate
* You have a keen attention to detail

Skills we'd love you to have (not essential, but helpful):



* Previous experience in e-commerce or the travel or ski industry
* A knowledge of skiing. If you are not a skier or snowboarder yourself, you need to be able to empathise with and understand our customers.
* CRM experience (Hubspot, Salesforce or similar)

Salary:



* £40-50k
