Social Media Manager - The Role
As the Social Media Manager for this well loved brand you will be responsible for development and delivery of their social media strategy, including conception and creation of content to be used across all channels.
They're looking for somebody who loves fashion and popular culture and has the ability to seamlessly translate in to customer relevant communication. You are a natural story teller, with a clear understanding of different audiences across each social platform, how best to engage with them and at what frequency.
You will need to have lots of ideas and the tenacity to execute them seamlessly, exceptional attention to detail, great people skills and the ability to think creatively, strategically and commercially. Enthusiasm, energy and an unfaltering work ethic are essential. We're looking for someone who is curious, ambitious, hard-working and a real team player. It is a fast-paced and fluid business, you should expect the unexpected be adaptable to change and have the confidence to manage multiple projects to tight deadlines, while maintaining a consistently high quality of work.
Work to define social strategy in line with brand positioning
Define role of each social channel in the context of the brand and set KPI's accordingly
Develop content to improve brand awareness & perception, increase community size and engagement for each channel
Deliver and implement end to end process including content creation, scheduling, analysis and reporting
Use social tools to report on and measure success to inform future planning
Develop best practice guidelines and training for wider marketing team and global partners
Work with global partners to drive efficiency in content use and ultimately create a single brand point of view
Work with Editorial manager to plan social content in line with the wider marketing and content plan
Work with PR team on development and delivery of influencer programme, attending and curating shoots
Work with performance marketing team to maximise paid social activity & email
Work with creative manager to make sure social media content is aligned to wider brand creative
Champion content creation and buy in with senior team across the business
Social Media Manager - Key Skills
4 years + social media roles strategy experience
Excellent working knowledge and understanding of all social media platforms
Proven experience of shooting social media content and writing accompanying copy
Extensive working knowledge of content management tools e.g Hootsuite/Sprinklr
Experience working with social channels across multiple countries
Passionate about fashion, its influences/ers and popular culture generally
Ability to think creatively and commercially
Proven experience of managing relationships at a senior level
A real team player with strong people skills and the ability to quickly forge great working relationships
Self-motivated, positive & passionate - a strong work ethic and positive approach is crucial for this role
