Major Players is working with this agency as they are looking for an ambitious Social Media Manager to join their Social Media team and lead community engagement plans and activities.
You will be the voice of a range of FMCG and hospitality brands. You'll be responsible for engaging with fans on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram, answering customer queries and flagging issues to the client when they arise. You'll moderate the social channels and contribute to the always on content plan as well as thinking of reactive content opportunities as and when they arrive. In addition to this, they are looking for someone who's interesting in taking on a breadth of responsibility, keen to work across the creative and strategic side of things and happy to have regular client contact. A crucial part of the social media team, the Social Media Manager will make everything tick and be expected to act as a leading light for social within the agency.
Key Responsibilities and Competencies
-Contribute to writing and creating content calendars across a range of social channels (with focus on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram), produce copy and image suggestions.
-Contribute ideas and content for larger integrated campaigns.
-Think of reactive content opportunities.
-Maintain and update content calendars.
-Posting and scheduling of content.
-Moderate and engage with social communities and handling customer queries.
-Would like someone that's comfortable having direct and regular client contact
-Ability to offer guidance from a social perspective to our clients
-Handling approval of work with clients
-Produce social media reports / audits for clients when required. Involving social listening as well as brand page monitoring
-Feed into integrated campaigns to offer a strategic perspective
Experience, Skills and Personal attributes:
-Looking for someone who lives and breathes social media and are really active within social.
-1-2 years experience
--The ability to write engaging social copy is essential
Good understanding of how different social platforms work, the restrictions and how best to use them is essential
-Proactive and passionate about Social Media and a commitment to a quality and best job possible
-Experience or knowledge of social outreach would be desirable but not essential
-Knowledge of Paid Media is desirable
-Knowledge of Social Media Listening Tools desirable
-Collaborative approach essential
