Social Media Manager - The Company

This award winning international agency combines creativity with technology to move people, transform brands and build businesses.
Established for over 20 years they currently have over 100 full-time staff in London delivering expertise in strategy, communications, applications, mobile and platform development. They also have a dedicated social media team and innovations lab. They have a host of multinational household name clients on their roster and have a fantastic opportunity for a Social Media Manager to work on a leading Automotive account.

Social Media Manager - The Role

All day-to-day management and participation for Client's social media properties (such as Facebook, Twitter and blogs), including producing regular posts and content, moderation, outreach and any other appropriate duties.
Building a close and trusted working relationship with the client and partner agencies to ensure effective execution of content strategy
Presents content strategies, insights and optimization plans to clients
Responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing optimization of content strategies
Evaluates third-party tools and industry trends within relevant social channels
All day-to-day management and participation for Client's social media properties (such as Facebook, Twitter and blogs), including producing regular posts and content, moderation, outreach and any other appropriate duties.
Creating and managing relationships with key influencers, bloggers and forum owners.
Supporting the Strategy and client account teams across the agency and their sister creative agency in the development of social media proposals, consulting, strategies, engagements and evaluation.
Working with Clients and partner agencies to implement a rigorous approach to evaluation which demonstrates the business impact of social media projects.


Social Media Manager - Key Skills

2 - 3 years solid social media experience
Solid understanding of social media and the role it plays in the digital ecosystem.
Extensive experience of social media management for a large, global blue-chip company.
Client handling experience.
Proven ability to articulate social media strategies and best practices; Experience writing for a marketing or social media blog a plus
Extensive knowledge of current and emerging social channels
Strong knowledge of social media best practices (and worst practices)
Ability to design and produce social media programmes.
Ability to demonstrate ongoing engagement and activation strategies.
Willingness to take risks and deliver proactive thinking for a demanding and ambitious client
Experience using content distribution techniques to extend the spread of content across multiple platforms and sites.
Excellent copywriting and editing skills and experience in creating content and publishing calendars for social media platforms.
Ability to produce detailed and robust monthly reports on performance with actionable recommendations.
