Social Content Creator
Central London Studio, Hybrid working (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday in office).
I am working is an award winning Creative Agency who are looking to turbocharge its creative department and social capability with the addition of a brilliant social content creator.
We are looking for a candidate with strong experience in ideating and producing great creative across all social channels.
Our ideal person will have 1-3+ years' experience in top creative and/or social agencies and will be able to show a portfolio of work that they've concepted and produced, including platform-first content.
Whether for existing clients or new business pitches, their perfect candidate will be able to shoot and edit social-first content themselves, originating treatments/scripts/shot lists and then seeing the content all the way through to delivery. You'll also be able to work with editors and producers on shoots and briefs for higher spec video requirements. Proficiency with Adobe Premier or other editing suite equivalent is essential, as well as real world experience of direction and camera operation on smaller scale video and stills shoots. Skills in copywriting, design (Photoshop/Illustrator), motion graphics and sound design would be massive bonuses.
You'll be able to think, ideate and execute 'at the speed of culture', devising and creating social-first content that audiences want to interact with, and helping build brands that people genuinely want to hang out with. You'll be super hands on, knowing the trends, tricks and creators worth knowing about. They'll enjoy the challenge of doing something different, approaching every brief with an idea of how we might execute it with flair.
Whether it's a quick and fun tik tok/instagram reel or a hardworking paid social piece, you would need to understand how to plan and make content that will stand out and grab attention.
Understanding cultures to quickly develop relevant and interesting ideas and executions for brands, considering the entire anatomy of a piece of social content (the format, the copy, the visual direction, the pace, the audio).
This agency has an entrepreneurial creative culture that's ideal for self-starters. We love people who spot hidden potential and unlock missed opportunity; we believe that at least 20% of the time we should be creating ideas that haven't arisen from a client brief.
They as an agency, consistently deliver acclaimed social output across campaigns over the past decade, and are experiencing a rising demand for social and digitally-led projects from impressive/existing and brand new clients.
Their social team is an integral and valued part of our creative department, reporting directly to a Creative Director/ECD. You would also be expected to lean in and contribute to campaigns outside social spaces - as a channel agnostic creative agency we never waste great talent - a TV or experiential idea can come from anywhere.
Day-to-day, the social content creator will work alongside our social creative team and social strategy lead across a wide range of client business. This will be a mixture of generating 'always on', evergreen social content to a calendar, building out the social dimension of 'above the line' campaigns, but also coming up with and creatively leading social-first campaigns including video advertising, activations and more. You'll have a keen sense of emerging trends and behaviours across social channels, know what works well, and be able to execute content to a high level under their own steam and in collaboration with other makers in the business and outside.
