Major Players is excited to be working with this company who serve over 3 million small business owners all over the UK. Reporting directly into the Head of Digital, you'll be responsible for leading the website strategy in order to continue to delight current customers and ultimately increase the conversion rate of the website. You'll also lead a small team of talented web developers as well as an SEO agency to help accelerate ambitious growth plans. You'll be a strategic, commercially-driven thinker who's dedicated to exploring innovate ways of getting new customers. The office is based in London Victoria, and you'll also be working with other employees who are based all around the world. * Lead the website strategy to attract, delight and acquire new customers across the small business, self-employed and accountant segments
* Define & own an innovative CRO roadmap backed with clear hypotheses, customer insights and data points to deliver an uplift in conversion rates YoY whilst improving profitability
* Manage SEO agency to increase organic growt
* Provide a clear vision & roadmap to improve the E2E web flows, messaging, SEO, pricing & promo tactics, sign up flows, lead capture mechanisms, blog, tracking and technical performance
* Scope, plan and project manage the delivery of industry-leading E2E website experiences in partnership with the wider marketing team, analytics team, design team, web developers and agency partners
* Conduct prospect/customer research to assess current experience, identify new opportunities and test/validate new hypotheses before rolling out
* Drive web monetization strategy for new customer acquisition to increase revenue and profitability
* Prioritise strategic initiatives based on the impact on sales, revenue & retention
* Monitor web KPIs on a daily basis, produce weekly performance reports and identify funnel optimisation opportunities to increase growth
* Build a thorough understanding of the customer base, competitive market, market trends along with the ability to analyse sales and site performance to determine the best course of action
* Stay up to date on the latest technology & web design trends and translate these into new optimisation opportunities
* Coach team on fast learning cycles and testing to continuously improve growth outcomes

* At least 6+ years of experience managing & optimizing large scale ecommerce websites for reputable brands with proven step-change CRO results
* Deep understanding of web testing methodologies, processes and CRO best practices
* Proven track record of improving SEO performance & KPIs
* Experience of conducting VOC & usability research to understand E2E journeys and identify customer pain points
* Experienced with managing large scale projects using scrum methodology in a high-velocity environment with multiple stakeholders
* Strong commercial & analytical skills and comfortable with using complex web analytics tools & data sets to assess performance
* Outstanding communicator that can effectively manage expectations vertically throughout the organization
* Attention to detail and data accuracy whilst multi-tasking
* Proven networking/cross-functional skillset
