The Company - Senior E-Commerce Manager
A leader within the children's entertainment space is looking to expand into the UK market and needs a Senior E-Commerce Manager to lead the charge. In four years the company has grown to over 200 people across Europe and sold over 2.5 million units. The Senior E-Commerce Manager will take responsibility for building the UK hub, developing and implementing both e-commerce and digital marketing strategies with the long term goal of building the team out further in the coming months.

The Role - Senior E-Commerce Manager
* Lead ecommerce business in the UK, developing short, long and daily e-commerce strategies
* Develop and manage the UK ecommerce website including:
o Optimisation of traffic, conversion and average order volume
o Contribute to website and content design
o Development of paid and organic search, direct marketing and affiliate marketing
o Daily management of content display merchandising, navigation, search functionality and product presentation with a strong focus on customer experience
o Close collaboration with the Marketing and Sales team to design, test and execute campaigns
o Establishment of product assortment, placement and pricing strategies
o Develop marketing strategies that ensure growth and profitable returns
* Define and implement the national Amazon strategy, prepare and optimise Amazon listings and implement Amazon advertising campaigns
* Responsible for tracking and monitoring volume metrics, business drivers and costs to make strategic business decisions
* Report to the central E-Commerce Director and collaborate with the national General Manager
* Provide e-commerce updates to senior leadership
* Provide expertise in the current e-commerce industry best practices and identify new areas of e-commerce opportunity for long term growth and expansion

The Requirements - Senior E-Commerce Manager
* 5 years experience in a progressive ecommerce environment
* Prove track record of developing and implementing successful ecommerce strategies and business plans
* Experience driving ecommerce sales
* Experience across paid media, email marketing, SEO and web analytics
* Experience selling products through Amazon beneficial
* Strong project management skills
* Independent and goal-oriented working style
* Customer focused mind-set
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Curious and motivated team player
