Who You'll Be Working With

This agency are an absolute rocket. A highly creative, independent creative agency in East London with an amazing range of clients - everything from big tech to small startups, cultural institutions and household brands! They are massively strategic, delivering marketing and strategy projects, but also have an in house production team who deliver a range of video content for their clients. Interestingly, they actually also produce their own original content, including documentaries. Thanks to the agency founders stepping away from managing clients directly to concentrate on other areas of the business they've started to build an account management team. They onboarded one SAM earlier this year and now they are after another one!

Culture wise, they've got a simultaneously very demanding and very relaxed approach; they expect brilliant work to be done, but they don't really mind how you do it. They genuinely believe in complete ownership of your work and won't be watching the clock to make sure you are at your desk on time - they understand that sometimes working from home is simply better (even pre-Covid) and that sometimes working different hours is better. So long as the work is done, everybody is happy. If you enjoy working in a flexible but creatively brilliant environment, this will be a good fit.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Senior Account Manager you will be overseeing the management and delivery of projects for a whole range of their clients, working alongside the strategy director, creative team, writers, editors, animators, designers, producers, and the founders themselves. You'll be working extremely closely with your clients (who they generally have a relaxed, informal relationship with) but the producers will be dealing with budgeting and delivering the work so you can focus on managing those relationships. You'll be expected to brief creative work out however, and be the client's voice within the agency. You will also be directly involved in setting the strategy for your clients, so this is a great role for somebody who likes looking at the bigger picture rather than simply executing creative campaigns.

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for somebody who wants to muck in. The agency are fast paced and highly collaborative so you'll need to be a quick learner, highly adaptable, and genuinely passionate about delivering great work. Everybody who works there is passionate about what they do and that isn't going to change any time soon. We would like to get somebody in who already has some solid experience working as an agency account manager though we are completely open as to if you come from a big network agency or a boutique independent. In fact, if you've worked in both kinds of environment that would be a plus! Account management in the traditional sense is quite new for these guys, so being comfortable with defining the role as you go will be a big help.
