Senior Account Manager

Account Management £ 38,000 - £ 45,000 per year

Who You'll Be Working With

These guys are a strategic branding and design agency who deliver end to end branding, product design, and packaging for a range of big names in the health, home and pharmaceutical sectors. They are a really tight knit bunch with a fast paced, collaborative culture, a highly strategic approach, and a great set of clients to work with. As they are on the smaller side of things (~20 people) everybody mucks in, and your role won't be boxed in by a tight job description - you'll get space to breathe and find the best ways of working to support your clients and deliver great work.

What You'll Be Doing

As the only account manager in the business you will be very much at the heart of agency, acting as the primary point of contact for a range of well known clients and the lynch pin for the business. You'll be working closely with the COO and CEO, along with the newly hired business development manager who we placed into the business. On a day to day basis you will be the lead contact for the agency, working closely with your client and other agencies that deliver work for them. Your key responsibilities will be much the same as any account management role; you'll be taking briefs and generating proposals that set out strategically focused solutions, looking after the financial management of accounts and projects, and will have oversight of workflow management, and financial elements including preparing fee forecasts and budgeting. While this role will very much be a "farmer" thanks to pairing up with the business development manager you will be expected to proactively drive the development of existing client relationships; identifying new opportunities and growing your accounts.

Who You'll Be

We're looking for somebody who has got 4+ years of solid experience working at a design and branding agency and can bring strong account management skills and a strategic approach to the team. Excellent knowledge of industry trends and and a full understanding of a design/branding/packaging project life cycle from ideation through to delivery is also a must. Culture wise, this business will suit somebody who is adaptable, highly collaborative, and likes mucking in with the rest of the team. As with many smaller agency environments, you'll find that your role will bleed into other areas of the business so if you are someone that thrives in that kind of open environment then this could be a good one for you!

If this job sounds up your street then please get in touch!
If not, we have got some other openings though the market is a little quieter than usual.
