Major Players are working with a strategic sport & esports creative agency that work with ambitious brands and right holders such as PlayStation, Stat Sports, New Balance, FIFA, Beats by Dre, Coca Cola and UEFA. This agency are embarking on an exciting period of growth and now wish to hire an Account Director/ Senior Account Director to be the trusted advisor to the Client on behalf of the agency.

You will be leading and growing accounts while delivering world-class campaigns; working from the Manchester office once a week and a work from anywhere policy for the rest of the week.

The Role / Company

This agency is in its 6th year of growth, working with ambitious brands and rights holders, they use their revolutionary fan model to develop campaigns that deliver real results. From defining brand propositions to refining asset portfolios, analysing audiences and creating activations that fan bases will love; they build, curate and amplify campaigns that leverage the commercial power of fan bases and help their clients get more value from their assets in sport and music.

The Senior/Account Director will be the key client point of contact, representing the client's views and point of view in the delivery of projects. You will take overall responsibility for the management of client campaigns in order to maximise its performance for both the client and the agency. You will be the growing the agency's relationship and remit with the client

Key Responsibilities

* Own the client relationship and take, taking responsibility with overall client success and

satisfaction

* Lead your team to ensure that all key project documents including status reports, contact

reports and timing plans are delivered to the Client on time and to the required standard

* Work with the Planning & Insight Hub, Digital, Social & Media Hub and Projects Team to

ensure flawless delivery whilst ensuring that the project and account hit the client's and the

company's KPI's

* Identify new opportunities and areas of growth within designated clients

* Management and development of junior staff members including designated Account

Manager

* Have a thorough understanding of your department's roles and responsibilities and all of

the agency's processes. Actively strive for best practice across all projects working with

other team members to ensure a consistently high standard across the whole agency.

* Ensure clear internal briefs are written based on client communications for the Planning &

Insight Hub, Digital, Social & Media Hub and Projects Team to develop and manage the

creative response

* Take responsibility for the financial reporting of designated accounts.

* Work with the for Planning & Insight Hub, Digital, Social & Media Hub, Projects Team and

Operations / Finance team to develop and maintain clear accurate budgets as well as their

administration in Paprika (PO's / Time / Expenditure / Schedules) to ensure efficiencies and

maximum commercial performance

* Own account growth plans for each account and demonstrate how you will help develop

each account

* Lead and coordinate pitch presentations and material/collateral with the relevant

departments and staff

* Alongside agency colleagues, present creative responses, strategy and insight ideas and

concepts to the client

* Work with the Planning & Insight Hub and the Digital, Social & Media Hub on monitoring

the effectiveness of projects and campaigns developing and contributing to the project

evaluation.

Skills & Experience

Must have:

* 8 years in agency brand communications

* Experience working as a successful Account Director

* Strong Client Servicing experience

* Ability to spot opportunities

* A track record of winning developing and growing accounts

* A track record of developing client leads, pitches and presentation

* Results focused

* Ability to lead pitches and presentations

* Excellent organisational and time management skills

* Excellent communication and 'people skills', for working with a range of colleagues and

clients

* Good experience of leading and motivating a team

* Keen eye for detail

* A creative approach to every project and opportunity

* Great presentation and pitching skills

* Understanding of the importance of research and insight in creative

* Good business sense and the ability to work to budgets

* Understanding on how to deliver joined up campaigns

* A love of contemporary culture, sport or gaming

Salary & Perks

Location - Flexible with 1 day a week in the Manchester office

Salary - £40,000 - £55,000 Depending on Experience
