Major Players seek a Research Executive with a passion for film and the entertainment industry to join an established and growing insights agency within the entertainment industry, paying up to £30k

The Client
Our client, a global market research company with a focus on film, entertainment, gaming, broadcast and OTT are looking for a hard working Research Executive to join their growing London team. Due to a number of recent acquisitions our client has an impressive offering across the entertainment and sports sectors, working with an impressive client roster of international leaders in these territories. Our client is well established within the industry and as a result has multiple offices in the US, along with their London office which is going through a period of continued growth.


The Role
They now seek a talented and hardworking Research Executive to join the bespoke research division. This role will see you project managing and supporting the wider team in London and the US on research projects for clients in the entertainment industry. You will be developing questionnaires and discussion guides and then analysing the qualitative and quantitative data these produce, eventually creating a story for each client. You will have the opportunity to travel to far flung destinations to coordinate the field teams and international qualitative vendors, you will also be supporting senior analysts working on international focus groups, so an interest and willingness to travel is essential. You will also be working on ad hoc projects involving in-depth desk research. This is the perfect role for someone willing to work hard under pressure and be part of something really exciting.


The Candidate
You will have at least 1 year's experience under your belt working within market research, media, marketing or similar industries and will have a passion for film, television and the entertainment industry. You will have a good knowledge and experience of survey design, creating customised questionnaires, data modelling and analysis and will be comfortable working with numbers and data. You will be able to produce interesting visuals and presentations showcasing a creative side. You will be a great communicator who excels at creative data driven analyses and insights, and will be comfortable presenting your ideas both written and verbally. Foreign travel experience will be a bonus as this role will require an interest international markets and trends, with the opportunity to accompany the wider team on frequent international trips. Good MS Excel skills are required for this role and VBA macro writing experience will be a plus. Any foreign language skills will be a bonus.
