Job Summary:

Digital Product Owner to help define the product vision with responsibility for planning, managing and delivery of the global roadmap (with a US and UK store view).

You will create, prioritise and manage the product roadmap and backlog ensuring you are delivering value to the business and a best-in-class customer experience, always future proofing their investments as they scale.

Key duties and responsibilities:

 

Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to;

 

  • Act as the central point of contact with a holistic view of all projects and priorities, and build out the strategic project, discovery and BAU roadmaps to work smarter and more productively

  • Drive a strong test and learn culture and encourage continuous improvement, using data to drive customer experience

  • Work closely with our development external partner to manage the delivery of works, always questioning SOWs, estimates and quotes for optimised delivery

  • Clearly define acceptance criteria for all scopes of work

  • Review and approve epics and stories based on feature strategy including spotting transition requirements.

  • Make appropriate swap-outs to adapt to moving and evolving business needs and changing insights so as to deliver value at pace whilst communicating progress updates and milestones, proactively managing risks & issues, and removing blockers.  

  • Collaborate with a range of stakeholders (digital, marketing, NPD, tech) to ensure alignment to agreed and prioritised outcomes

  • Manage relationships between internal and external stakeholders, including key agencies and vendors for specified business initiatives.

 

The ideal candidate will have;

 

  • Extensive experience in a Product Owner role or similar

  • Working knowledge of shopify plus desired but not essential

  • Used to working in an agile, fast paced environment

  • Experience within the retail industry is preferred

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage stakeholder expectation at all levels

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Ability to think outside the box

  • Excellent problem solver and always looking for ways to deliver success at pace

  • Skills in following a project from start to finish

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Organised and solution driven

  • Collaborative

  • Good Team Player
