PR Senior Account Director role - The Company
My client is a dynamic, growing mid-sized agency in Central London who have a rich history of delivering impactful campaigns for clients and effectively driving coverage across print and online media. They have truly cemented their position in sectors that cover Fashion and Lifestyle and as they continue to grow as an agency, develop their expertise in other areas that include working with high profile Drinks brands.
PR Senior Account Director role- The Role
In response to our recent wins and the ongoing growth of this agency's core clients, they now need a motivated Senior Account Director to manage, and importantly grow, several of their key Drinks focused accounts.
They are seeking a person hungry for a demanding leadership role who will demonstrate their core capability, determination, passion, accuracy and dedication both internally and externally.
These are the task areas that you are expected to undertake in order to achieve your outcomes:
-Developing client strategy and creative with senior management team which meet clients' business objectives
-Direct nominated PR accounts within the team delivering excellence and maximizing profitability
-Set KPIs, get sign off from Client and then achieve client project KPIs
-Producing client timelines plans alongside the agreed strategy
-Develop all client evaluation reports with the teams
-Management of all budgets across all accounts ensuring that fees reflect activity and expected margins are hit
-Meet regularly with Finance Manager to monitor reconciliations across accounts
-Efficient allocation of the team to ensure team costs are in line with business' staff to fee ratio expectations
- Establish and maintain pro-active relationships with top level National UK media
-Demonstrate a detailed understanding of all media; print, broadcast and online and be familiar with key
correspondents/editors of all major National media as well as deadlines, soft features etc
-Be fully up to speed on all media trends and developments within sector/journalist moves etc.
-Pro-actively identifying client development opportunities - both within existing projects, in relation to new projects and also laterally within client's portfolio, as well as supporting the Director on new client opportunities
PR Senior Account Director role - Required skills/interests
As a seasoned and experienced PR leader, you will have a minimum of seven years' experience in roles where you are demonstrating your passion for PR and have responsibility for both the growth and management of core accounts.
You will have developed your natural skills to be independently responsible for core client relationships, your team and for achieving the profitability and client growth targets set by the business.
You will thrive on the pressure of a modern and progressive PR agency and will be as proud of your successes as you will be self-analytical of the times when performance is below that anticipated.
You will seek assistance and support as willingly as you provide it to your team.
