PR Manager (Fashion/Accessory Brand)

Established 5 years ago this jewellery brand has cemented itself as a prominent brand with strong presence in the fashion world.
The role
The brand are looking for an enthusiastic PR & Marketing Manager who is a self-starter, but also a team player. The candidate will have at least five-seven years of experience gained either in-house at a luxury fashion or accessory brand or within an agency. The PR & Marketing Manager will have strong writing skills, an in-depth knowledge of fashion trends and the industry and possess excellent international editorial contacts. The candidate will be able to operate independently, and effectively manage and direct agencies. This role encompasses every aspect of the brand's communication.

Working and reporting to the CEO:
* Work on seasonal brand plans and media & marketing strategies
* Suggest ideas/initiatives/ strategies to drive brand awareness
* Proactively outreach, pitch and execute media coverage, features, brand profiles and news items in key international market /news editors and stylists in long/short lead, and online media outlets
* Manage and direct PR agencies (where applicable) to consolidate media result, monitoring their efforts to ensure they are in line with management expectations
* Manage seasonal presentations, editor appointments
* Handle day to day PR activity and duties
* Keep an overview of collections and sample loan activities
* Write interesting, creative, and effective press materials including press releases and bios and guide accounts in branding and marketing efforts
* Monitor press coverage and compile reports
* Manage the planning of all aspects of events including logistics, catering, entertainment, direct mailings, and décor; in charge of guests list and VIP outreach
* Proactively outreach to secure special feature stories in conjunction with Events and campaign releases
* Minimum 5-7 years' experience, preferably handing multiple luxury labels
* Educated to degree level in advertising, PR, marketing, communications or a related field
* Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
* A solid understanding of fashion and industry trends, a keen interest in horology
* Generates novel and useful ideas and solutions to everyday problems and challenges
* Sets goals, monitors and reviews plans and prioritises tasks effectively
* A strong work ethic
* A wide range of extensive international industry contacts
* Experience outsourcing and executing brands collaborations/partnerships
* Takes ownership for specific projects without supervision
* Outstanding communication skills
* Strong computer skills
