Major Players have a fantastic opportunity for a B2C Account Manager to work in their client's growing PR and social media team. Our client is one of the most established integrated marketing agencies in the Midlands; with services including Creative, Digital, Media Planning, PR, Social Media and Video Production. Their national and international brands are in the home and garden sector.

The Role / Company

You will have the get up and go to lead on events; pitch new business and help develop the team. You will organise and attend events, press releases and build your network in the home and garden sector.

As PR Account Manager you will need to have experience of working with social media and influencer management. You will also need to be an expert at writing press releases. Joining a 30- strong PR team you will have the support to lead on the influencer management and make it revenue generating.

Based just south of Birmingham's City Centre you will be required in the studio 1 or 2 times a month; so much more of a remote working opportunity with the chance to travel within the UK. You will also be required to attend press events 1 or 2 times a month in London.

Key Responsibilities

* Building journalist relationships
* Running a proactive and reactive press office for clients
* Managing influencer collaborations from start to finish
* Working with the wider team to develop influencer offering
* Building strong client relationships and becoming a valuable extension of their team
* Managing the day-to-day activity across all accounts
* Managing junior members of the team
* Developing a strong and wide media knowledge
* Writing a wide range of copy from news releases, blogs and social media content for a wide range of audiences
* Copy checking junior team members' work effectively and efficiently
* Understanding social media channels and advertising, and making recommendations
* Responding and engaging with social media audiences
* Managing social media platforms
* Copy checking social media content to ensure it delivers against business objectives
* Participating in new business pitches

Salary & Perks

Location - Flexible hybrid working policy. 1-2 days a month in the Birmingham studio with travel to London for events.

Salary - £35,000 - £39,000 depending on experience
