About the role:We’re in an exciting period of growth and are looking for an exceptional and passionate Partnerships Director responsible for developing and maintaining Creative Equals client base. This role requires an individual with an entrepreneurial spirit with a clear desire to take on a key role in a fast-paced and growing start-up. As the Partnerships Director, you will be responsible for the complete sales cycle, including identifying new partnership opportunities, weekly, monthly and quarterly sales reporting. If you have a consultative sales approach, are you to influence stakeholders and develop strong working relationships, we’re keen to hear from you. The scope of the role includes developing sales strategies in order to reach individual revenue objectives while meeting internal business goals. The successful candidate will ‘own’ the partnership function within Creative Equals working closely with our Client Services Director, Managing Director and CEO. 

Key responsibilities: 
  • Build long-lasting strategic client partnerships
  • Create and present clear and concise presentations & proposal decks
  • Ability to build a robust pipeline and identify new client partnership opportunities
  • Pitch to new and existing clients Creative Equals as a consultant partner offering the full range of Creative Equals services (ES, Training programmes & Event sponsorships)
  • Convert Pitch win into clearly defined and approved Scope Of Work
  • Work in collaboration with the Client Services Director to ensure all opportunities are presented and executed correctly, timely and in accordance with the overall partnership strategy with a smooth handover to the clients services and operations teams to meet the clients expectations
  • Work in collaboration with all Creative Equals interdependent teams including Marketing, Research & Insights, Events & Sponsorships on an ongoing basis to ensure a continuous feedback loop
  • Ensuring accurate recording of data within the CRM to support reporting and visibility across teams
  • Drive sales process from plan to close
  • Weekly reports to SLT - revenue v budget, client update, wins/loses, moves & pipeline
  • Develop & execute a sales strategy that will define priorities when approaching the market in order to achieve targets
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the DEI landscape including competitors offering
  • Ability to be a strategic advisor to client partners
  • Ability to demonstrate a creative, resourceful, adaptive attitude with a hands-on approach
  • Highly motivated and entrepreneurial spirit to build the business

Skills & competencies:
  • Experience within the DEI sector or transferable consultant background, such as brand/cultural strategist
  • Commercially minded
  • Active listening skills
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Demonstrate emotional intelligence and empathy when dealing with clients as well as colleagues and management
  • Strategic and consultancy mindset
