NextGen is seeking a Paid Media Manager to join Subscriptions Marketing team. The Paid Media Manager will have overall responsibility for improving our brands' paid media performance, which will play a critical role in driving customer acquisition and delivering commercial targets. The ideal candidate will be a paid media specialist with 3+ years' experience who is looking to develop their skillset as part of a multi-functional marketing team.



- Own the development and execution of paid media strategies for NextGen brands that reach prospects across all stages of the buying journey



- Work in close partnership with the Subscriptions Marketing Acquisition and Retention teams to build paid campaigns

- Build and manage all paid media channel campaign activity (principally: paid search, display and

paid social) and identify untapped paid media channels. Activity will include audience creation,

copywriting, bidding, UTM tracking, and liaising with stakeholders for creative

- Continually review, test and optimise campaign performance to drive low CPLs and CPAs

- Establish processes for paid media measurement - work closely with Digital Marketing & Insight Manager to set processes for improved tracking and measurement of the effectiveness of paid media across all channels & accounts

- Establish processes for paid media reporting - set a regular reporting and feedback framework to

ensure all team members have up-to-date knowledge on campaign performance

- Take part in annual budget conversations - in relation to paid media and tools required - with

Product Marketing and Subscriptions Marketing; and own the deployment and day-to-day spend

to be aligned with the approved budget.

Experience & skills

- 3+ years in-depth technical understanding of paid marketing, required

- Comfortable working across multiple brands and stakeholders, required

- Experience building and optimising paid search campaigns in Google Ads, Twitter, and LinkedIn, required

- Experience in bid management, conducting keyword research & competitor analysis, required

- Ability to analyse and interpret data to turn insights into actionable plans, required

- Proficient user of data and visualisation tools including Excel, Google Analytics and Data Studio, required

- A solid understanding of digital marketing practices, required

- Prior experience working within a B2B subscriptions led business, preferred

- Experience in using CRM platforms to manage marketing campaigns, preferred

- Google Ads certified, preferred


- A self-starter with the confidence to take initiative and solve problems rather than ask permission, required

- Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively across teams and functions, required

- Comfortable understanding and translating requirements from multiple stakeholders to implementation, required

- Excellent prioritisation skills and ability to effectively organise time and resource, required

- Energetic, enthusiastic and innovative, required
