Major Players have a great Art Director position available with a multiple award-winning creative advertising and marketing agency. With offices across the UK, they apply themselves to exciting campaigns from long-term brand building to short-term marketing activations. Motivating ideas are always at the heart of what they do.

This agency are based in Edinburgh with a hybrid working policy of 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.

The Role / Company

This agency apply their many and varied skills across a wide range of sectors, media and marketing challenges.

You will have proven experience in an advertising agency as an Art Director who has designed campaigns, brought briefs to life and can demonstrate the artwork then looks great on all channels. You will be reporting to the Creative Director / Deputy Creative Director and working as part of a busy creative department to deliver award-winning, idea-led marketing campaigns on brief, on time and on budget. You will be working alongside a copywriter to deliver visual concepts for on and offline campaigns.

You will work collaboratively with the Account Handling team to take briefs, interrogate when required and sense check; presenting ideas both internally and to clients when needed.

Key Responsibilities

* Work alongside copywriter to deliver visual concepts
* Deliver campaigns on brief, on time, on budget
* Communicate with the Account Handling team to understand brief and deadlines
* Present ideas both internally and to clients

Skills & Experience

* Adept in Creative Cloud, specifically Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
* Display solid knowledge of print and digital platforms
* A sound commercial approach to commissioning any outsourced work, e.g. illustrators, photographers, animators, directors and TV production companies, so that contribution to agency profitability is maintained.
* A motivated self-starter, multi-tasker and good manager of time
* Passionate and enthusiastic about all things creative - popular culture, design and innovation - and share that passion with colleagues
* An appetite to grow and develop
* A strong communicator and good listener

Salary & Perks

Location - Flexible hybrid working policy with 2 days in the Edinburgh office.

Salary - £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
