We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join an award-winning publishing company, on a short-term contract until the end of October 2019, to help grow reach of our preschool brands. This role will focus on managing campaigns for a host of household names.
The goal of the marketing team is to grow the Children's business through targeted, consumer-focused activity. Creative, innovative and organised, you'll have the confidence to implement a campaign from concept to delivery. You'll think commercially and strategically about your audience, and then be able to reel them in with a clear hook - both off-, and on-line. Digitally-savvy, you'll be able to show a track record of running successful integrated trade and consumer campaigns.
Juggling projects across a variety of brands, you'll also work closely with colleagues across the marketing and PR team, the Children's division as a whole, as well as brand partners externally.
Alongside a marketing background, you'll have excellent copywriting skills and an eye for design. Experience in Children's publishing is preferable but not essential. Similar industries such as Children's entertainment, brands, media or arts will also be considered, while experience of working with third parties would be a distinct advantage.
Mostly you'll be hugely passionate about understanding children, parents and teachers in order to reach and engage our readers in exciting new ways.
There may also be potential for people management within this role.
